Here is Hannah's first trip down to the beach. As you can see, she did NOT want to put her feet down in the sand. Three days later, she still hasn't walked in the sand.
Hannah hanging out with both of her grandmothers.
Hannah is not afraid of the ocean - go figure! Most kids would be afraid of the water rather than the sand! She loves sitting in our sea kayak.

Here are a few family pics.

More to come later!

LOVING THE MATCHING BATHING SUITS!!! pish posh about a flabby tummy! you lookin' HOT! I was cracking up at Hannah in the full pike position in order to not touch the sand!
I bet you guys are having a "blas!" Sorry, I couldn't resist :) I love the pictures and the matching zebra stripes!
I love the mathing suits too! I also love the "no feet in the sand" pics. Brooke was like that the first time we went too!! She just sat in her stroller or my lab the entire time!
First off, I love the matching bathing suits! Too cute! I wish I would have thought of that - you need to share these good ideas with me. Second, Hannah is precious and I'm so glad she loves the water. That's awesome! Third, why in the heck are YOU wearing a tankini???? You're one of the smallest people I know! You need to show off that hot bod of yours. Don't get me wrong, the suit is cute, but don't need one. If for no other reason, think about the other people on the beach that are bigger than you and are sporting a bikini. You are making them feel worse about themselves by wearing a tankini. When they see skinny-mini you in a tankini, they say, "Gosh, if she's wearing a tankini then I really shouldn't be wearing this bikini. Now I really feel fat." Something to think about. Love ya!
Hey Lauren,
You likely don't know me, but I am David Shepherd's sister-in-law. Sherry Shepherd got me hooked on your blog! Brad (David's brother) and I have a daughter Emory that is the same age as Hannah, so I love seeing what she is doing. I love the beach pictures. I know that very pose from Emory when I try to put her down. We are heading to the beach soon too. Hopefully Emory will love it as much as we do. I'll send you a link to our blog (Brad made be block it to the public). Email me your e-mail address- cynthialshepherd@hotmail.com
