First Day of Preschool

Here are a few pictures of Hannah on her first day of preschool.

She is just going to the 2 year old program at our church for two days a week. She also goes to daycare at our church and has learned a tremendous amount from her teachers. I don't know that she'll learn anything different from what she is learning at daycare, but I'm hoping she'll get a little bit of additional help with speech and word pronunciation.

ONE HUNDRED!!!

I can't believe I've actually stuck with this blogging thing long enough to reach ONE HUNDRED posts!!!! There will be more exciting posts to come :)

Just a funny story to share about Hannah...If you ask her what her full name is she'll tell you it is "Hannah Claire Malueg Claire." She cracks me up!

I think it's a little strange...

Every day this weeks as soon as Mark brings Hannah home from school, she runs in the door and asks me if she can "touch Mommy's car." The first day, I thought it was funny. But after the fourth day, I just thought it was STRANGE! Really makes me wonder what is going on her head!?!?

Beach FUN!

We took Hannah to the beach yesterday morning while on our vacation in Tybee. I didn't hold very high expectations and we were prepared to hold her the whole time we were there. But in true Hannah fashion, she completely surprised us and walked in the sand and the water all by herself! She kept her crocs on at first, but soon she ditched those too and was walking barefoot in the sand!! I was so proud and so surprised!!

It's amazing for me to think that just 2 months ago, she didn't touch the sand at all! Who knows why she wasn't scared this time?!?

Helping Nana

Hannah loves to help Nana water her flowers when we go to visit them. This time she decided to trick Granddaddy into thinking they had gotten lots of rain, but filling up his rain gauge.

Don't mess with Hannah when she is holding the sprayer! I think I see a mischievous grin on her face :)

WHOA!!

The other night we had a fun playdate with Hannah's sweet friend from school, Ella and her mom and dad. They are such awesome people and I love watching Hannah and Ella play together. They truly are such sweet girls! Ella has the coolest playscape you've ever seen. Seriously, it could put many small town parks to shame! Part of the playscape includes a sandbox. I know you wouldn't believe it, but Hannah marched right into the sandbox and took off her shoes! She didn't mind it at all. Just more proof that I'll never be able to figure out my child and what she is thinking! I'm interested to see what happens this week when we are at Tybee.

A post for my fellow Twilight fans...

As I was reviewing pictures from our recent trip to the north Georgia mountains, I noticed how vibrant and green some of the trees and scenery looked. It instantly reminded me of what Forks, WA might look like (except without the rain). So girls, just picture yourself climbing through the trees with Edward :)

You should also note that we are just 113 days from the release of New Moon!!!! And enjoy the Twilight music to go along with this blog post. Okay, I'm done obsessing...for tonight.

Impromptu trip

We didn't have any plans today, so we decided to pack up and head to the north Georgia mountains and find something to do. The highlight was going to Anna Ruby Falls. Hannah loved the short 1/2 mile hike and the "wawa-fall" at the end. She did great! She was all about posing for the camera and even managed to give me a "real" smile!

A few of my favorites

And a few pictures of the scenery
